Nancy Carol Russell Martin, 80 of
Athens, Alabama, died Monday, August 31, 2020 in Athens.
Mrs. Martin was born
August 25, 1940 in Limestone County, she was a member of Riddle’s Chapel United
Methodist Church in Athens and she was retired from Redstone Arsenal.
There
will be a 5pm Graveside Service Tuesday at Ripley Cemetery. Visitation is from
6pm – 9pm Monday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Pallbearers will be Grandson’s
and Great Grandson’s.
Survivors: Daughter, Terrie Martin of Athens. Sons, Tim
Martin of Athens and Troy Martin of Athens. Grandchildren, Stephanie Starnes,
Leigh Starnes, Brandon Starnes, Will Martin and Kei Martin. Great
Grandchildren, Jace Starnes, Talan Hicks, the late Halei Hicks, Tyler Starnes,
Dacey Starnes, Bryson Russell, Walker Starnes and Lainey Starnes. Brother:
Jimmy Russell of Athens. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by:
Parents, Ed Russell and Reba Russell. Husband, William (Moose) Martin.

I can't tell you how so very sorry we are about these losses! Stephie, we are especially holding you close to our hearts.
There's so much I could say about Nancy, and everything would be with a smile. She was always such a sweetie.
