Levi Chase Gordon, 30 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, August 31, 2020 in Athens.
Services will be 3pm Friday at Spry Funeral Home chapel, burial in Dement Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6pm – 9pm Thursday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mr. Gordon was born November 20, 1989 in Athens, Alabama, he was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ.
Survivors: Father: Todd Gordon and wife Tammy of Elgin; Mother: Stephanie Shannon and husband Mike of Athens; Brother: Walker Gordon and wife Bailey of Rogersville; Sisters: Taylor Gordon of Elgin, Sydney Shannon of Huntsville and Erica Howell and husband Dylan of Five Points, TN; Grandparents: Linda Gordon of Athens, Ira and Linda Whitehead of Athens, Eddy and Faye Shannon of Ardmore, AL, Tim and Linda Hensley of Mt. Juliet, TN; Uncles: Tim Gordon of Athens, Dwain Carter of Athens, Jay Whitehead of Athens.
Preceded in death Grandfather: Turner Ray Gordon.

Richard and I and our daughters' families, due to the circumstances of Richard's health and the Covid restrictions, are unable to attend Elinor's services. However, we are grateful for the little time we were able to be "present" by way of telephone, text and video conferencing that would have been impossible just a few years ago. It certainly has made it all a little more bearable. We have been touched by all the caring comments made on Facebook to Beth, Jackie and Greg. They certainly deserve them, as they have diligently provided unconditional care for their mother and grandmother. Thank you one and all. CEW
