Judy Dollar Blakely, 77 of Athens,
Alabama, died Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at her residence.
Services will be
11am Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Romine and Guy McDaniel
officiating, burial in Sandlin Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6pm until 9pm
Thursday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Alex Adams, Jamey Adams,
Greg Persell, Walter Williams, Daryl Brackeen, Jamie Warren and Bryan Warren.
Mrs. Blakey was born November 24, 1942 in Lauderdale County, she was a member
of O’Neal Church of Christ. She was a retired School Bus Driver for special
needs in Limestone County School and she was a retired Seamstress at Athens
Lingerie.
Survivors: Daughters: Denise Persell (Greg) of Athens and Stephanie
Adams (Jamey) of Rogersville; Sisters: Jean Brackeen of Athens, Linda Warren
(Buster) of Athens and Becky Barnett (Danny) of Waverly, TN; Grandchildren:
Haley Williams (Walter), Brea Persell, Kennedy Adams and Alex Adams; several
Nieces and Nephews.

Judy was my neighbor along with her Sister Jean , when I lived in Athens. Praying for her family because I know her passing will leave a void.
