Glenn Victor Isbell passed from this life at his home on September 5th, 2020.
He was a faithful servant of Christ, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Glenn was a retired draftsman of the State of Tennessee and U.S. Steel Company of Birmingham and he was a Korean Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Shelby LeCroix Isbell. He was preceded in death by his parents Lonnie and Ethel Gibson Isbell; siblings Charles Isbell, Pauline Perrin, John Isbell, and Leonard Isbell. He is survived by his children: Jeff Isbell (Nita) and Patty Johnson (Kenneth), his grandchildren: Sara Griffis (Cory), and Robert Johnson (Leah), his great grandchild Carter Griffis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family is thankful for the loving care he was given by Alive Hospice. Visitation will be from Wednesday 10:30am- from until 12:30pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens, Alabama.
The graveside service will be 1pm Wednesday at Roselawn Cemetery in Athens with Michael Pickford officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, Cory Griffis, Phillip Isbell and Brad Burroughs

We are do sorry for your loss. I know Glen as a Godly Christian man and I know he will be greatly missed. I pray God gives all the family peace and comfort during this time. i always remember our family beach trips. Good times.
