Michael Douglas Smith, 63 of Athens, Alabama, died Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Athens Limestone Hospital.

Mr. Smith was born October 29, 1961 in Memphis, Tennessee.

There will be a 2PM Graveside Service Friday at New Salem Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday 12noon until 1:30Pm at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.

Survivor: Brother: Lewis (Sharon) Smith of Lester, Alabama.

Preceded in death by: Parents: James Earl and Douglas Irene Covington Smith. Brothers: Ronny and Donny Smith; Sister: Marcia Smith.
