Jimmy Wayne Garrett, 66 of Athens,
Alabama, died Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his residence.
Mrs. Garrett was born
April 10, 1957 in Limestone County, he was retired from ConAgra and Wayne Farms
and he was an avid Wood Worker.
Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Spry Funeral
Home Chapel in Athens with Dwight Ridinger officiating and burial in Roselawn
Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday 6pm until 9pm at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers
will be Chad Miller, Greg Miller, Jeff Miller, Eric Miller, Colin Miller and
Michael Thompson.
Survivors: Wife of 48 years, Edna Hughes Garrett of Athens.
Son, John (Catina) Garrett of Athens. Daughter-in-law, Chenequa Garrett of
Athens. Brother, Robert (Marie) Garrett of Athens. Sisters, Judy (Jimmy)
Solomon of Delrose, TN and Jannett (Joe) Evans of Athens. Grandchildren,
Johnathan, Kaylee, Ethan, Logan, Caleb and Macie Garrett. Several Nieces and
Nephews.
Preceded in death by, Parents, Albert Richard Garrett and Hazel Dean
Garrett. Sons, Jimmy Richard Garrett and Jeremy Lance Garrett.
