A celebration of life
for David Wayne Riley, 60, will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 6:30 PM
with visitation starting at 6 PM. The service will take place at Lindsey
Lane Baptist Church Student Center in Athens, AL.
David Riley, who died Monday, November 27, 2023, at his residence was born June 21, 1963, in Gadsden, Alabama to Bobby and MaryAnn Riley. David was a devout Christian and involved member at Lindsey Lane Baptist Church in Athens, AL. As a CDL truck Driver for over thirty years with an outgoing personality, David left an impression on many along his route in North Alabama. At home, he loved spending time with his family, Alabama football, studying and watching the weather, and listening to music. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Riley.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Riley; children, Adam Riley (Sarah), Rachael White (Nathan), and Brittany Riley; grandchildren, Alice White and Julia Riley; mother, MaryAnn Riley; and brother, Bobby Ray Riley
