Amanda Gail Gibson, 45 of Killen, Alabama, died Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Madison, Tennessee.
Mrs. Gibson was born December 25, 1979 in Lauderdale County and she was a loving Mother & Grandmother.
A Memorial Service will held later. Spry Funeral Home in Athens assisted the family.
Survivors: Mother, Donna Massey of Florence. Sons, Tyler (Caden) Gibson of Athens, Dylan (Hannah) Gibson of Athens and Nicholas (Kaitlyn) Gibson of Athens. Daughter, Katlyn (Dalton) Gibson of Killen. Grandchildren, Owen Parker, Braylen Cox, Addilynn Parker, Kambree Parker, Brynlee Parker, Grayson Parker, Kayson Parker, Wrenleigh Cress, Ellie Gibson and Finley Gibson. Brothers, Rusty Parker of Somerset, KY and Zac Carruth of Smyrna, TN. Sister, Courtney Scott of Florence.
Preceded in death by: Father, Jones Russell Parker. Aunts, Gennie Hammond & Peggy Tidwell

We did so may things together like the senior talent show with kiss- make up and the best dance routine ever. Sonya pushed me when I needed pushed. For example going out for the MissHeath Padget...Which she won!!! The most beautiful and bravest strongest and loyal friend I could ever ask for. Her friendship was golden she was always an inspiration to me and now... She is an Angel and shines brighter than ever I am blessed for knowing her.
