My heart breaks with the passing of David. He played such a vital part in my life. All my memories of my youth have him, and the whole Carter family, in it. He taught me how to have fun and be bold in my witness. He was the example of what a Christian man, husband, and father should be. I'm so grateful that I was able to run into all of the family a few months back and get one final hug from him. I love you all and will be praying for you all during this difficult time.

Saddened for all of your family. Jamey shared stories with me of David's big heart and love for others. I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting him. Prayers for comfort and peace.

David was my best friend in high school. He was the most genuine, honest, trustworthy and sincere person I knew. He also was the funny and LOVED the beach boys! He had many talents and made cheer-leading fun. I know he will be missed but I bet you God is having a ball right now because David brought a light of joy wherever he was. My prayers are with you, Renee and girls. Jana.

We are sorry to hear of the passing of Mr.David Carter. It was a very good privilege to know him. I coached and my children played and cheered for the First Baptist upward program for years. Our thoughts and prayers are with his entire family and friends.

My daughter is 40 years old and my son is 36. David came alone side of us as their youth pastor when they were in middle school and blessed our family with his gifts and love for the Lord. In addition to being just a wonderful godly Brother and Friend, he was a tremendous mentor for our kids. I am so grateful to the Lord for having been blessed by David. David showed what it mean to be faith until the end. Renee, Girls, Mrs. Wilma, and Craig, we are praying for you all.
