Rita Lynn Wright, 57 of Athens, Alabama, died
Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her residence.
Visitation is Wednesday 12noon until
2PM at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
There will be a private Graveside Service later.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Wright, Cole Arnold, Cody Arnold, Chris Wells Jr.,
Chris Berthiaume, Chris Wells Sr. and Jay Wright. Mrs. Wright was born April
10, 1966 in Huntsville, Alabama.
Survivors: Husband: Freddy Hovater of Athens;
Sons: Kenny Wright (Nicole) of Kahoka, Missouri, Cole Arnold (Anna) of Athens
and Cody Arnold (Rachel) of Athens; Daughters: Amber Doty (James) of Clayton,
NC and Kala Hovater of Clayton, NC; Sisters: Laurie Wells (Chris) of Athens,
Wendy Hammonds (Roger) of Athens and Shelly Wright of Athens; Grandchildren:
Mallory Wright, Jay Wright, Brycen Arnold, Cannon Arnold, Savanna Foxworthy,
Joclyn Foxworthy, Abby Foxworthy, Blakely Arnold, Anders Doty, Danica
Doty and Ellie Owens.
Memorials may be made to Athens Limestone County Animal
Shelter.
