Peggy Jean Collins, 71 of Athens, Alabama died
Thursday, August 10, 2023 at her residence.
Services will be 2PM Sunday at Spry
Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Chris Pirtle officiating and burial in Legg Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday 1PM until 2PM at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Henderson, Chris Collins,
Kevin Henderson, Fred Crutcher, Josh Cole and Trevor Watkins. Toney Collins is
a Honorary Pallbearer. Mrs. Collins was born February 26, 1952 in Lauderdale
County.
Survivors: Daughters: Brenda Henderson (Chris) of Rogersville, Judy
Collins of Rogersville and Pam Collins of Athens; Brothers: Robert Wallace of
Athens and Billy Wallace of Athens; Sister: Agnes Tucker of Athens;
Grandchildren: Chris Collins, Kevin Henderson (Rachel), Haley Crutcher, Fred
Crutcher (A.J.) and Madelyn Brown; Great Grandchildren: Avery Lindstrom and
Micah Crutcher; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents:
Henry Ford and Mable Christine Wallace; Husband: Howard Collins; One Brother
and Two Sisters.
