Chris (Bubba) Morell, 63 of Athens, Alabama, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Services will be 1PM Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Dwight Ridinger officiating and burial in Gatlin Cemetery. Visitation is 11AM until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Mr. Morell was born October 12, 1959 in Athens, Alabama and he was a retired carpenter.
Survivors: Son: Roger Morell of Athens; Daughter: Crystal Blakely of Athens; Brothers: Keith Morell of Athens and Sonny Morell of Athens; Sister: Tammie Thurman of Lynnville, TN; Grandchildren: Lacey Blakely and Ty Blakely. Preceded in death by: Wife: Kathy Morell.
