Malissa Kay (Wilson) Seay 56 of Harvest, AL, passed away December 29, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital.

A memorial service will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at the First  United Methodist Church Beasley Center at 3PM with Dr. Kenny Baskins officiating.

Visitation will be from 2PM until service time at the Beasley Center.

She is survived by Husband: Wallace Jake Seay Jr., MD. Children: Wallace Jake Seay III, 29 of Lebanon, TN, Katelin Elizabeth Seay Rutland, 27 and spouse Jimmy Kyle Rutland, of Madison, AL, Kyndell Elyse Seay, 21 of Harvest, AL, a student at UNA. Half Sister: Jamie Anne Grimes of Plano, TX, Half Brother, Jayson Wilson, of Fort Worth, TX, Step -Brother, Dave Armstrong, of Gingellville, MI. Harper Rutland, soon to be Grandchild due (February 2022). Biological father, James Wellington Wilson of TX. IN-Laws , Wallace and Emilyn Seay, of Spartanburg, SC.

She was preceded in death by, Mother and Step-Father, Cherlyn Kay and Noland C. Armstrong. She was born February 11, 1965 in Grand Prairie, TX .

She moved to Athens,AL  on July 13, 1998 from Enterprise,AL. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Athens, She was a member of Rainbow Girls growing up, previous member of the Officers Wives Club and Medical officers Wives Club at Fort Hood and Fort Rucker. Girl Scout for life, former member of the Wing of the Aerospace Medical Association, currently member of United daughters of the Confederacy and the Limestone County Republican Women's Club and member of Romance Book Club through Monrovia Library.
