Lisa Renee King (Newman) passed away Jan 20th 2023.
She was born in Decatur,AL on May 13, 1964. She is preceded in death by her mother Linda Adams, her brother Tommy Newman Jr.
She is survived by her dad Tommy Newman Sr. (Martha), brothers Johnny Lovelace (Jana), Mike Lovelace (Britt), husband Nathan King, sons Landon Lawrence (Carrie), Lincoln Lawrence (Tiffany), step-children Caleb and Jacey King, grandson Mason Lawrence, and many nieces and nephews.
Lisa graduated Hartselle High School in 1982, retired from City of Athens Utilities as the payroll clerk. She was a member of Friendship Methodist North.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Friendship North campus in the Fellowship Hall located at 21960 Easterferry Rd. Elkmont, Alabama on Feb. 25th at 2pm with fellowship and food to follow.

So sorry for your loss. I know families change and grow with the years. Parents and grandparents pass before their time. Distance and circumstances keep us from being together, but I often think of my Alabama family .
