Cody Harold Scott, 32 of Athens,
Alabama, died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Services will be 2PM Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Mike
Owens, Stanley McNatt and Lance Taylor officiating with burial in Roselawn
Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5PM until 9PM Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Holt, Alex Blevins, Alan Pugh, John Hubbard, David
Brand, Caleb Elders, Adam Carr and Larry Carr. Mr. Scott was born June 29, 1990
in Huntsville, he was a member of Sandlin Road Church of Christ and he was
employed by the Dollar General on Hwy 127 in Athens.
Survivors: Parents:
Stanley and Gwen Scott of Elkmont; Grandmother: Virginia Woodard of Athens; Brother:
Alex Blevins of Florence; Sisters: Nakita Blevins of Florence and Lashae Melson
of Missouri; Several Aunts, Uncles & Cousins; Fur Babies: Opie, Bridgette
and Miley.
Preceded in death by: Grandparents: Cordell & Pauline Wise,
Harold Scott & Minnie Bell Jernigan; Great Grandmother: Birdie Mae Roberts;
Uncle: Mike Wise.
