Wilson Otis Coffman, 90 of Athens, Alabama, died
Monday, February 20, 2023 at Madison Hospital.
Services will be 3pm Thursday at
Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Alan Ostrzycki officiating with burial
in Athens City Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 1pm, until 3pm at Spry
Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Coffman, Joshua Coffman, Tyler
Haggenmaker, Dale Coffman, Jeremy Coffman and Billy Smith.
Mr. Coffman was born
May 24, 1932 in Alabama, he was a Charter Member of Lindsay Lane Baptist
Church, A U.S. Army Veteran serving in Korea behind the Iron Curtain, 279
Station Medic Hospital in Berlin, Germany, he was retired from the State of
Alabama D. O. T. after 32 years, a member of the Woodman of the World, a
devoted Christian, Amazing Husband, Father and Papa.
Preceded in death by his,
Parents: Grady and Nancy Coffman, Two Brothers, One Sister and In-Laws.
Survivors: Wife of 67 years: Shirley Coffman of Athens; Sons: Ronnie Gene
Coffman (Regina) and Randy Lynn Coffman (Marta); Grandchildren: Christopher
Eugene Coffman (Amy), Joshua Clem Coffman (Erin), Jenna Elizabeth Haggenmaker
(Tyler) and Gabriel Viana Coffman; Great Grandchildren: Emily, Logan, Connor
and Everleigh.

So sorry to hear about Doris, she was always such a joy to be around. I know she's happy to be united with her Freddie, I never met him but felt like I knew him because Doris was always talking about him and the rest of the family, she dearly loved. My prayers goes out to her precious family.
