David Ross Usery, 82 of Athens, Alabama, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Athens.
Mr. Usery was born November 30, 1940 in Limestone County and he was a member of Oakland Church of Christ in Athens. He was retired from Lynn Layton Chevrolet and he was a Veteran of Alabama Nation Guard.
Services will be 11am Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Jeff May, John David Smith and Adam Smith officiating with Burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Friday 9am until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Grant Gilbert, Jeff Henderson, Jeff Peek, Tracy Miller, Lynn Persell and Ronnie Brackeen.
Survivors: Wife, Wanda Ramsey Usery of Athens. Daughter, Kelly (John) Smith of Athens. Grandsons, John David Smith of Decatur and Adam Keith (Rebecca) Smith of Athens. Soon to be Great Granddaughter. Brothers, Carlos Usery of Elkmont and Paul Usery of Athens. Sisters, Mattie Lipham of Ardmore, AL and Linda Meadows of Elkmont. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Vernon and Ozell Usery. Brother, Kenneth Usery.
