Charles Edward Owens, 80 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday,
January 16, 2025 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Mr. Owens was born May 17, 1944
in Giles County, Tennessee, he was a member of Central Park Baptist Church in
Decatur, a member of Masonic Lodge and he was retired from GM in Decatur.
Services will be 1PM Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Pat
Lawrence officiating, burial in Burning Tree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is
Wednesday 11AM until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Survivors: Wife: Kay Owens
of Athens; Son: Chris (Sue) Owens of Elkmont; Grandson: Dusty (Robin) Lindsey
of Orange, TX; One Great Granddaughter.

My heart goes to the entire family.
I am a first cousin on Louise 's side. She any my Dad, Buford were brother and sister. Freddy was one of the younger first cousins still living. Again I am so vey sorry you have my sincere sympathy.
