48 of Athens, Alabama, died Monday, June 16, 2025 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Amy was born April 14, 1977 in Huntsville, Alabama, she was employed by the
City of Athens. Services will be 11AM Friday at Sardis Springs Baptist Church
with Brother Tom Keenum officiating, burial in Sardis Springs Cemetery,
Visitation is Friday 10AM until 11AM at the church. Survivors: Parents: Larry
and Merian Zirbel of Athens; Daughter: Julie (Charlie) King of Athens;
Grandson: Casey Dylan King of Athens; Grandmother: Lavon McAllister; Brother:
Chris Zirbel and wife Michelle of Athens; Nephews: Cole Zirbel (Emma) of
Sylacauga, AL and Cooper Zirbel (Audrey) of Athens; Niece: Audrey Zirbel of
Athens; Uncles: Freddie (Kay) Zirbel of Hampton Cove, AL, Mark (Sharon) Zirbel
of Athens and Roger McAllister of Huntsville; Aunts, Cousins and friends.
