Clinton Glaze Smith, 86 of Decatur, Alabama, died January 2, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Smith was born February 24, 1934 in Limestone County. He was a member of Danville Road Church of Christ. He was retired from Shelby Construction Company and then started Clinton Smith Lawn Care.
There will be 12noon Graveside Service Wednesday at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Justin Roberson and Gary Patton officiating.
Visitation is from 10am until 11:30pm at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Smith, Mike Smith, Steve Aldridge, Brian Wagnon, Jason Williams, Joseph Hasting and David Hasting.
Survivors: Wife, Jewell Smith of Decatur. Daughter, Kathy (Daniel) Casey of Decatur. Grandsons, Jeremy (Amanda) Casey of Decatur and Russell (Christy) Casey of Trinity, AL. Great Grandchildren, Emily Casey, Shelby Casey and Lucas Casey. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Parents: John and Lucy Smith. Sisters: Wynema Southard and Edna Greenhaw. Brother: Jerrell Smith.

Clinton worked for us since he retired mowing the grass. He was also our contact at Shelby for many years. He was such a joy to talk with whenever we crossed paths. He will be missed.
