Emma Lucy Adams, 82 of Athens, Alabama, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Adams was born October 10, 1938 in Giles County, Tennessee, she was a member of New Hope Church of Christ, she was a homemaker, she was a good wife and mother to her husband and children.

She was a 1956 graduate of Prospect High School.

Services will be 1pm Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Daniel Tucker and Bob Watson officiating burial in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday 11am until service at Spry Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Hall, Christopher Wilbanks, John Holland and Austin Adams. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Brewer and Alex Adams.

Survivors: Husband, Earnest L. Adams of Athens. Sons: Randall (Jill) Adams of Athens, Darryl Adams of Athens and Jamey (Stephanie) Adams of Rogersville. Grandchildren, Jennifer (Dustin) Hall, Rebecca (John) Holland, Morgan (Christopher) Wilbanks, Austin (Danielle) Adams, Kennedy Adams and Alex Adams. Great Grandchildren, Piper Hall, Annie Kate Hall, Graham Hall, Sylvie Hall and Aubrey Claire Wilbanks. Cousins, Pat Raymer of Nashville, TN and Jean Chaffin of Nashville, TN.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Curry and Ruth Lunsford. Cousin Judy McMahan. Great Grandson, Carl Hall.
