Clifford Clinton Allsup Sr., 96 of Athens, Alabama, died Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Allsup was born November 19, 1924 in Texas, he attended the First Church of Athens and he was retired from the U.S. Navy.
There will be a 3pm service Thursday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Doug McCurry officiating, visitation is from 2pm until service Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors: Wife, Mary Allsup of Athens. Sons, Clifford (Beverly) Allsup Jr. of Dothan, AL, Billy (Gloria) Allsup of Dothan, AL and David Allsup of Helena, Mississippi. Step-Daughters, Karen (Benny) Brumfield of Athens and Pamela Turner of Athens. Step-Son: Robert (Amber) Kelly of Athens. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

My wife Kim and I are saddened to hear of Rusty’s passing. I will miss the conversations we had while walking on our street.
