Alma Juanita Batts, 101 of Athens, Alabama, died Thursday,
September 19, 2024 at Limestone Nursing and Rehab.
Miss Batts was born April
20, 1923 in Limestone County, she was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church
and she was retired from Wal-Mart.
Services will be 2pm Sunday at Spry Funeral
Home Chapel in Athens with Wade Batts officiating, burial in Poplar Creek
Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday 12noon until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Grubbs, Chris Sims, Jason Batts, John Christopher
Batts and Jimmy Downs.
Survivors: Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death
by: Parents, Cleve and Eunice Batts. Brothers, George Batts, Marvin Batts,
Rolly Batts and Ed Batts. Sisters, Sarah Peace, Hazel Grubbs and Katie Jewell.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County or Poplar Creek Cemetery.

Im sad we weren't able to be there due to circumstances out of our control. Grandma, I wish I could have hugged you one more time and told you I love you. I will always have our memories together and there are so many. RIP Grandma Harris 😔❤️
