Patrick Eugene Elmore age 43 Athens, Alabama resident passed away on Wednesday September 18th, 2024, at Athens Limestone Hospital.
A talented truck driver and avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, devoted family man and was a great friend to many. A member of New Oakland Baptist Church. A man of many talents.
He is survived by his fiancée Candace Duncan; son, Chevy Wayne Watkins; stepdaughter, Madison Duncan; granddaughter Skylar Renaye; siblings, Leslie Garner (Jason), Sandy Webb (Freddy), Jay Elmore (Chrissy) and Blake Elmore (Christina), and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his mother Brenda Gatlin Smith and father Larry Joe Elmore.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held October 5th at 2pm at The New Oakland Baptist Church on Old Elkmont Rd in Athens.

To Lee's family- I was so very sorry to hear of Lee's unexpected passing. I work for Equine Performax Vet Services and Lee has brought horses to our clinic over the last several years. He was always pleasant and cared for the horses the owners entrusted him with. In the last couple of years he always had a "Dad" joke to share with us. The most recent was Why did the turtle cross the road? To get to the Shell station. He will be missed.
