Roy Earl Holladay - Spry Funeral Home

Roy Earl Holladay age 94 of Rogersville was born March 8, 1931 in Huntsville Hospital. He passed away June 24, 2025 at his residence in Rogersville, Alabama. Mr. Holladay was a retired welder and a member of Word of Truth Baptist church in Anderson, Alabama.

Services will be 11 am Saturday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Jerry Marlow officiating, burial to follow at Evans Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 pm at Spry Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Pedro Holladay, Jonathan Holladay, Hunter Holladay, Jacob Griffin, Zane Holladay and Brayden Holladay. Survivors include his Son, Dewight Holladay of Rogersville. Brother, Donald Holladay of Oklahoma. Five Grandchildren, twelve Great Grandchildren, five Great Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Holladay was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years Lillie Aline Holladay. Son, Ray Holladay. Grandson, Matthew Holladay. Parents, Joseph and Bessie Holladay.
