Reba Joann Steele age 84 of
Athens passed away Monday at Limestone Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Mrs.
Steele was born February 9, 1940 in Davidson County, Tennessee, she was retired
from Walmart and a member of O'Neal Church of Christ.
Graveside services will
be 1:30 pm Friday at Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, no visitation is planned.
Survivors include her Daughters, Jennifer (Randolph) Thompson and Donna
(Michael) Kyle both of Athens. Sisters, Betty Curnutt, Sandra Ray and Brenda
Darnell all of Athens. Grandchildren, Dajwan (Siyeicea) Jackson of
Harvest. Tanesha (Travis) Reedus Of Athens. Tasha Jackson of Athens.
Nikeyah Thompson of Athens. Kayla Kyle of Pennsylvania. Seven Great
Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
her daughter, Lesha Jackson and Granddaughter, Donna L. Kyle

We did so may things together like the senior talent show with kiss- make up and the best dance routine ever. Sonya pushed me when I needed pushed. For example going out for the MissHeath Padget...Which she won!!! The most beautiful and bravest strongest and loyal friend I could ever ask for. Her friendship was golden she was always an inspiration to me and now... She is an Angel and shines brighter than ever I am blessed for knowing her.
