Myrna Marie Morris, 86 of Athens,
Alabama, died Friday, March 17, 2023 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Services
will be 2pm Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with visitation 1pm
until service Sunday at Spry Funeral Home.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry
Townsend, Vance Smith and Grandkids. Mrs. Morris was born August 20, 1936 in
Decatur, Alabama, she was a member of Truth Baptist Church and she was a
retired Nurse from Athens-Limestone Hospital for 48 years.
Survivors: Sons:
Ricky (Sherry) Mitchell of Leeds, AL, Jack (Doneen) Morris of Lester, AL and
Jim Morris of Florence, AL; Daughter: Sheila Morris Mankin of Elkmont, AL;
Sister: Bennie Sue Willingham of Decatur, AL; Daughter-in-law: Donna Mitchell
of Lester, AL; Fourteen Grandchildren; Twenty-two Great Grandchildren.
Preceded
in death by Son: Anthony Mitchell.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of
Limestone County.

So sorry to hear about Doris, she was always such a joy to be around. I know she's happy to be united with her Freddie, I never met him but felt like I knew him because Doris was always talking about him and the rest of the family, she dearly loved. My prayers goes out to her precious family.
