Marjorie Helen (Rawls) Brooks age 72 of Tuscumbia, formerly of Athens died  Saturday at her residence.

Mrs. Brooks was born May 12, 1949 in Limestone County. She was a homemaker, a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Athens.  She was a great cook, avid reader, but most of all she loved her savior.

Graveside services will be 1 pm Wednesday at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Greg Lauderback and Dan Hughes officiating.

Visitation  will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Spry Funeral Home, Athens.

Survivors include her Husband Wendell Brooks of Athens. Daughter, Anjie (James) Brown of Tuscumbia. Grandson, Zach Brown of Tuscumbia. Sister, Betty Simpson of Athens. Several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her Parents, Alva and Gertrude Rawls. Brother, William Rawls, and Sister, Emily June Rawls. Pallbearers will be Ralph Blackwood, Zach Brown, David Kieff, Danny Kieff, Anthony Blackwood and David Reeves.
