There will be a private service Friday.

Mr. Harwell was born June 3, 1951 in California and he was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: Brookey Harwell of Athens; Sons: David Harwell of Madison, Mississippi and Jason Brown Harwell of Athens; Daughter: Kerry Osburn of Athens; Brother: Gary Wayne Harwell of Pulaski, TN; Nine Grandchildren
