Lee Ormond Smith - spry2

Lee Ormond Smith age 72 of Athens died January 3, 2024 at Athens Limestone Hospital.

Mr. Smith was born October 1, 1951 in Roanoke, Alabama. He was a disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in Vietnam.

Services will be 2 pm Sunday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home.  

Visitation will be Sunday from 12 noon until service time. Burial will follow in Elk River Mills Memorial Gardens with full military honors.

Survivors include his Wife, Beverly Smith of Athens. Son, Nathaniel Smith of Athens. Daughter, Heidi Smith of Athens. Grandchildren, Michael Smith, Natalie Smith, Austin Hester and Jada Coots. Sister, Lucia Landers of Birmingham. Holly Smith of Louisiana. Brother, Donny Wingo of Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Robert and Helen Smith.
