Mr. Holt was born May 27, 1977 in Limestone County and was a carpenter.

Survivors , Parents, Larry and Charlotte Holt of Elkmont. Sons, Landon Eugene Holt and Jessie Blaine Prince both of Fort Walton, Florida. Daughter, Alyrica Labrook Hicks of Pulaski, Tennessee. Sisters, Rhonda (Eric) Eckstein Buelow of Decatur. Tona Holt Underwood of Elkmont. Brothers, Bobby Dwight Eckstein Jr. of Elkmont. Larry Wray (Pam) Holt of Rogersville. Joel Milard (Brandy) Holt of Athens. Thomas Allen Holt of Madison. Several Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Eugene was one of the most loving people I've ever known. He was more than a friend to me, he was family. I will cherish every memory and every conversation I have with him. Every lesson he taught me and every piece of advice he gave. He loved his family very much. Eugene made life fun and always turned the bad around. There's a piece of my heart missing now. I never thought I'd have to say goodbye this soon. So, Eugene I love you and I'll see you again. Watch over me because I'm sure to mess up again. I'm gonna miss you. Life won't be the same.
