James Thomas (Tom) Hine - spry2

 

James Thomas (Tom) Hine age 88 of Athens passed away Friday at his residence.

Mr. Hine was born January 12, 1936 in Limestone County, he was retired from Delphi, and a member of Tanner church of Christ. He was an avid hunter, and loved watching boxing.

 

Mr. Hine raised beagles , was an avid gardener and operated a nursery.  In recent days he was ready to meet God and see his sweetheart.

Services will be 11 am Wednesday in the chapel with Mark Little and Henry Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Athens City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 am until service.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hine, Jeff Hine, Phil Louthan, Tommy Faulk, Joe Stewart and Jakhary Towns. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Connor and Henry Carter.  

 

Survivors, Son, Tim Hine of Athens. Daughter, Kay (Phil) Louthan of Tellico Plains, Tennessee. Grandchildren, Jason Hine, Jeff Hine, Katie Hine, Nathan Roskey and Aaron Roskey. Thirteen Great Grandchildren. Niece, Jamela (Tim) Fordyce of Tallahassee, Florida.

Mr. Hine was preceded in death by his Parents, Sonny and Lucille Hine. Wife, Marjorie Hine. Sisters, Delois Isbell and Judy Trent.
