Jo Nell Campbell, 90 of Athens, Alabama, died Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Athens Health & Rehab.

Mrs. Campbell was born December 31, 1933 in Limestone County and she attended Market Street Church of Christ.

There will be a 11AM Graveside Service Thursday at Roselawn Cemetery with Reed Humphries officiating, no visitation is planned. Spry Funeral Home in Athens is directing.

Survivors: Son: Ted Campbell (Frieda Knowles) of Elkmont; Grandchildren: Chris Kellum (Brittany) and Nikki Campbell (Brannon Craig); Great Grandchildren: Makennah King, Olivia King and Haven King; Brother: Royce Adams of Athens; Sister: Anna Gail Hardy of Athens.

She was preceded in death by Special Friend, Bub Tennison. Daughter, Charlotte Kellum. Mother, Gera Adams.

Our deepest condolences to Derek, Dorinda, Mary and all the family. Joyce was such a sweet, precious lady and we were blessed to have known her. She was such an example of one who trusted in the Lord and who placed her faith in Him. May God comfort you all in the days and weeks ahead with the wonderful assurance that you will see her again. Dorinda and Darek : I'm so very sorry about you loosing your Moma. I really thought the world of your mom. Joyce had a wonderful quality about her.She always do for others before herself. Your mom was always the same she never changed. I know you guys miss both of your parents. May GOD be with you and your family in this hard time. Just remember with GODS help you can turn to him for comfort. If you need anything Dorinda let me know and a again i'm sorry about you the passing of your mother.
