Jo Ann Isom, 88 of Athens, AL died Friday, February 9, 2024
at Limestone Health Facility.
She was a Member of the Bethel Church of Christ.
A retired Nurse from Athens Limestone Hospital after 45 years service.
Preceded
in death by parents Carl & Ollie West, husband, Joe Isom, son, Greg Isom,
Brother, Elmer Buster West, sisters, Charlene McLemore, Sylvia Hargrave, Ella
Mae Klaus.
Services will be Sunday, 2 PM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy
Clark officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday 1 PM until service time. Burial
will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Survivors include, son, John Wes Isom of Athens,
AL, grandchildren, Kent Isom, Lee Isom, Mary Alice Blizzard (Matt), Joseph
Isom, Luke Isom, Brenden Isom, Lauren Isom, 10 Great Grandchildren, Sister,
Smokie Sevigne of Athens, AL.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Memorials to be
made to your favorite charity.

We send our deepest sympathies for Aunt Jo Ann’s passing. She was such a wonderful aunt and a fine southern lady. We are so glad to have traveled down to Alabama to visit with her and Joe and the rest of the family a few years back. It just won’t be the same to pull up to the peach stand and not see their smiling faces. Our prayers go out to you all as you carry on with the great Isom legacy. God bless you all.
