Jimmy Don Keeton, 80 of Harvest, Alabama, died Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Athens Health & Rehab.

Mr. Keeton was born November 27, 1942 in Limestone County, he was a member of Capshaw Church of Christ and he was retired from Dunlop. He was a Charter Member of East Limestone Volunteer Fire Department being assistant Chief for many years, a member of International Harvesters Collectors Chapter 23, an avid collector of Antique Tractor and Memorabilia, a proud Grandfather and a member of Southland Fly Wheelers.

Services will be 11am Monday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Buc Chumbley officiating with burial in Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday 6pm until 9pm at Spry Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Keeton, Ethan Keeton, Sidney Keeton, Gerald Keeton, David Hargrove, Brianne Hargrove, Emma Hargrove and Paul Schrimsher. Honorary Pallbearers are Bruce James, Milton White, Richard Holmes and Joey Boyd.

Survivors: Sons, Sidney (Cindy) Keeton of Harvest, Gerald Keeton of Harvest. Daughter, Regina (David) Hargrove of Athens. Grandchildren, Nicholas Keeton, Brianne Hargrove, Ethan Keeton and Emma Hargrove. Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. Preceded in death by his: Wife: Wynell Keeton. Parents: Robert & Nina Lee Keeton.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or American Heart Association.

We are so sorry for the loss of this fine man. We will miss him at tractor shows or talking about parts needed for equipment. No more pain and no more illness. We will miss him on earth but will see him again when we join him in the not to far off future. Love all the family.
