Marie G. Nave, 93 of Elkmont, Alabama, died Friday, February 2, 2024 at Limestone Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Mrs. Nave was born November 19, 1930 in Limestone County, she was a member of Market Street Church of Christ. She was a retired Director of the Senior Center at Owens.
Services will be 3pm Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Kasey Harbin and Rusty Brand officiating, burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Sunday 1pm until service at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Green, Rex Green, Tim Carr, Craig Chandler, Ronnie Green and David Seibert.
Survivors: Sons, Lionel (Joan) Nave of Harvest. Michael Lynn (Flora) Nave of Langston, AL and Jimmy Don (Karen) Nave of Athens. Grandchildren, Beth (Rusty) Brand of Elkmont, Bart Nave of Athens, Brett (Erin) Nave of Athens and Becca (Chandler) Kramer of Madison. Six Great Grandchildren. Sister, Betty Jean Carr of Cincinnati, Ohio. Brother, Milton Green of Lester. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by: Husband, Cecil R. Nave. Brothers, Charles Green and Bill Green.

We send our deepest sympathies for Aunt Jo Ann’s passing. She was such a wonderful aunt and a fine southern lady. We are so glad to have traveled down to Alabama to visit with her and Joe and the rest of the family a few years back. It just won’t be the same to pull up to the peach stand and not see their smiling faces. Our prayers go out to you all as you carry on with the great Isom legacy. God bless you all.
