Glenda Ross Zirbel, 83 of Athens,
Alabama, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Limestone Health Facility.
Mrs. Zirbel
was born April 8, 1939 in Limestone County. She was a lifelong member of Riddles
Chapel United Methodist Church and she was the owner & operator of S&Z
for 31 Years.
There will be a 4pm Graveside Service Thursday at Ripley Cemetery
with Gerald Marks and Brandon Rogers officiating.
Pallbearers will be Charles
Mosley, Gary Downs, Brad Zirbel, Scott Glover, Larson Osborne and Jason Bailey.
Honorary pallbearers are Easton Bailey and Jackson Sides.
Survivors: Husband,
Bobby L. Zirbel of Athens. Son, Brad Zirbel of Athens. Brother, Gerald
(Barbara) Marks of Decatur. Sisters, Deloyt (Dee) Cockrell of Decatur and
Sandra Toomey of Athens. Several Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her
parents, Horace and Robbie Marks.
Memorials made be made to Riddles Chapel
United Methodist Church.
