Christopher Lynn Hamm, 43 of Toney, AL died Friday, July 5, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital.
Visitation will be Monday, 6-9 pm at Spry Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held later.

I had a number of connections with Bobby Scott while we were both in Hendrix College. I was two years behind him, but we both played in the trombone section of the Hendrix Band. When he graduated, he sold me his trombone, which I still have and use. We also played together in the "Troubadours," the Hendrix dance band. He was the choir director for the Wesley United Methodist Church in Conway, a new and small church with very limited resources at the time. I was his successor in this position. My memories of our Hendrix years are positive, and I regret to learn of his death. He was a great musician and friend. Jerry Robbins
