Patsy Annette Johnson, 81 of Athens,
died Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson
was born February 16, 1938 in Limestone County, she was a member of New Hope
Baptist Church and she was a homemaker.
Services will be 2pm Saturday at
Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Ricky Lowery officiating, burial in Roselawn
Cemetery, visitation is from 12noon until 1:45pm Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jerome Harmon, Matthew Hayes, Tim Malone, David Malone, Don
Beshears and Tony Rossi.
Survivors: Loving husband of 63 years, Richard Johnson
of Athens; Daughter, Julia Johnson (Tony) Hayes of Athens; Son, Richard L.
(Deana) Johnson of Athens; Grandchildren, Carrie and Mallory Johnson, Matthew
Hayes; Great Grandchildren, Preston and Brooklyn Hayes; Brother, James L.
Croley of Decatur; Sister, Julia E. Malone of Athens; several Nieces and
Nephews. Preceded in death by: Parents, Lloyd and Margaret Croley; Sister,
Joyce Dean Croley.

Richard and family, Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you during this sad time. We know that Patsy put up the good fight and that she is now with the Lord and so many loved ones gone before. I will be thinking of you in these days ahead. Love, Glenda
