Martha Jane Thompson, 82 of Lester,
Alabama, died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at River City Center in Decatur.
Services will be 1pm Saturday at Salem Springs Baptist Church with Kip McKee
officiating, burial in Thompson Cemetery in Lester.
Visitation is from 5-8pm
Friday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Thompson was born October 28, 1937 in
Shelbyville, Tennessee, she was a member of Salem Springs Baptist Church, a
homemaker, a volunteer for RSVP and worked with Backpack Ministries.
Survivors:
Daughter: Pam Davis and husband Randy of Lester, Alabama, Son: Wade Thompson of
Prospect, Tennessee, Brother: Charles Hagood of Union Hill, Tennessee.
Memorials may be made to River City Memory Care in Decatur, Alabama.

My association with Larry goes back to the 1970's during my tenure at the Florence Police Department. Many was the time when we met at traffic accidents or crime scenes and I placed the victims into his highly capable hands. Thanks for your service Larry, and Godspeed.
