Doris Marie Romine, 77 of Athens,
died Monday, December 30, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Romine was born July 24,
1942 in Limestone County, she was a member of West Hobbs Street Church of
Christ, and she was retired from NASA and was a 1960 graduate of Athens Bible
School.
Services will be 2pm Friday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Irby
officiating, burial in Athens City Cemetery.
Visitation is from 12noon until
service Friday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Larry Lovell, Dwight
Lovell, Joel Lynn, Phillip Ferguson, Tony Anderson and Ray Allen. Survivors:
Husband, Roland Romine of Athens; Daughter, Gina Witt of Elkmont; Son, Scott
Romine of Denver, CO; Granddaughter, Audrey Witt; Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Preceded in death by: Parents, Paul and Lucille Dodson; Son, Roland Romine Jr.
