Milton Hardy Green, 87 of Lester, Alabama, died Wednesday,
August 28, 2024 at his residence.
Services will be 2PM Tuesday at Spry Funeral
Home Chapel in Athens with Bobby Pepper and Mike Poff officiating, burial in
Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Tuesday 12:30Pm until service at Spry
Funeral Home.
Mr. Green was born June 12, 1937 in Limestone County, he was a
member of the Church of Christ and he was retired from Steelcase.
Survivors:
Wife: Modean Green of Lester; Sons: Ricky (Carol) Green of Lester, Kenny Green
of Elkmont, Ronny (Joy) Green of Athens and Mike (Zebbra) Green of Lester;
Sister: Betty Gean Carr of Ohio; Six Grandchildren; Thirteen Great
Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Parents: Homer and Esther Green; Sister:
Marie Nave; Brothers: Charles Green and Bill Green.

To Lee's family- I was so very sorry to hear of Lee's unexpected passing. I work for Equine Performax Vet Services and Lee has brought horses to our clinic over the last several years. He was always pleasant and cared for the horses the owners entrusted him with. In the last couple of years he always had a "Dad" joke to share with us. The most recent was Why did the turtle cross the road? To get to the Shell station. He will be missed.
