Mrs. Mattie Estelle Tucker, 88 of Athens, died Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Limestone Health Facility.
Mrs. Tucker was born December 18, 1930 in Limestone County. She was a member of the Church of Christ and she was a homemaker.
There will be a 11am Graveside Service Wednesday at Lentzville Cemetery with Barry Pugh, Jonathan Barksdale and Michael Heery officiating. No visitation planned.
Pallbearers are Eric Tucker, Dustin Tucker, Andrew MacKenzie, Marc McCurry, Kent Schrimsher and Duane Adams.
Survivors: Sons: Jerry (Vickie) Tucker of Athens, Wayne Tucker of Athens and Dennis (Penny) Tucker of Athens, Daughter-in-law: Daneese Tucker of Athens, Brother: Bobby Adams of Athens, Sister: Marie Showalter of Tampa, Florida, Grandchildren: Leigh Pugh, Casie Barksdale, Kristin Heery, Shane Tucker, Kylie Hatmaker, Lindsay McCurry, Eric Tucker, Tori MacKenzie and Mallory Schrimsher, Fourteen Great Grandchildren.
