Marjorie McLemore Reece - spry2

Marjorie McLemore Reece, age 87 of Athens died Friday at her residence.

Mrs. Reece was born March 14, 1932 in Limestone County. She attended Hobbs Street church of Christ, was a homemaker, and worked for many years in the convenience store business. The family would like to thank her special caregiver Mary Watkins and Southern Care Hospice for her care.

Services will be 12 noon Thursday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Bill Irby officiating, burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be  Wednesday from 5-9 pm at Spry Funeral Home.

The family ask memorials be made to  Alzheimer's Association.

Survivors include, Dr. Brent (Katherine) Reece. Brian (Jennifer) Reece, and Barry (Tracy) Reece. Grandchildren, Benjamin (Tori) Reece. Tyler Reece. Emma Reece. Anderson Reece. Great Grandson, Beckett Reece. Brother, Alvis McLemore. Sister, Jennifer Holmes. several Nieces and Nephews.

Mrs. Reece was preceded in death by her Parents, Oliver Delma McLemore and Ada Wallace Gordon McLemore. Husband, William (Buddy) Reece. Brothers, Dempsey McLemore, Billy Ray McLemore, and Bobby McLemore. Sisters, Catherine Griffin and Betty Faye McLemore.
