Survivors: Daughter: Michelle Elaine Green
of Fayetteville; Granddaughters: Brittany Greene of Fayetteville and Cathy
Greene of Athens; Three Great Grandchildren.

Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I'm beyond grateful that I had you as my rock for 36 years and that all 3 of your great grand babies got a chance to know you. You were the only dad I had and you definitely helped guide me through my life. You showed nothing but love and compassion and you helped me develop my sense of humor and how to find humor even in the darkest of moments. I know things will be so different without you but I'm glad you're no longer in pain and I know you're back with Momma and celebrating on the streets of gold. We all love you so much and miss you every single day. The babies love you and miss you and Dede said you were his dad too and he will be forever grateful that you welcomed him into your family and life. Rest easy Daddy, We love you so much.

Over the years David has shown me nothing but kindness, and his hilarious sense of humor. I'm glad he finally gets to be with Mrs Cathy, but he is missed.
