Betty Jean Barnett 45 of Athens,AL passed away Saturday July 24, 2021 at her residence.

Memorial Service will be Friday July 30, 2021 at 2 PM at Oakdale Baptist Church with Lynn Rager officiating.

Visitation will be Friday after the Memorial Service.

She was born December 19, 1975 in Limestone County and was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church, and a Homemaker.

She is survived by Husband: Tim Lang of Athens, AL, Parents: Steve and Barbara Barnett of Athens, AL, Children: Michael Barnett of Decatur, AL, Maria Appleton of New Jersey, Andy Taylor of Athens, AL, Grandchildren: Brantley Barnett, Bryson Barnett, Sister: Stephanie Barnett Francisco of Decatur, AL.

She was preceded in death by, Sister: Melissa Gail Kelly.

I am truly sorry for your loss! I pray that God wraps his arms around you all and gives you the strength and comfort to get through this difficult time. Aunt Ruby was always the sweetest person to me. She is rejoicing with her family in heaven now. A guardian Angel she will be. Jeanette if you need anything sweetheart please dont hesitate to call me any time.I truly feel your pain sweet lady!
