Kathleen Sims Adams age 94 of Limestone County passed away Friday August 6, 2021.

She was a resident of Limestone Health Facility for seven years. The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff for the love, care and support shown to them.

 
Graveside service will be Tuesday August 10, 2021 at 11 am at Sandlin Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 pm at Spry Funeral Home. She was born September 4, 1926 in Limestone County and was a member of Somerville Church of God, and a retired seamstress.

 
She is survived by Sons: Johnny Adams Sr. of Madison, Alabama. Marshall (Patti) Adams of Guntersville, Alabama. Anthony S. (Barbara) Adams of Arab, Alabama. Daughters: Janice (Jeff) Daniels of Madison, Alabama. Marcella Pressnell of Harvest, Alabama. Grandchildren: Johnny (Paula) Adams Jr. of Athens, Alabama. Ryan Daniels of Madison, Alabama. Ashley (Lance) Joyner of Guntersville, Alabama. Shane (Stephanie) Pressnell of Athens, Alabama. Jill (Jeffery) Underwood of Harvest, Alabama. Seven Great Grandchildren. Brother: Kennith Sims of Duncan, South Carolina. Sister-In- Law: Reba Sims of Tanner, Alabama. Several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Leonard and Dora Sims. Husband: James Edison Adams. Brothers: Marion Sims, Cullen Sims, and Coleman Sims. Sisters: Macaree Nunley and Bertha Sims.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Adams Jr., Ryan Daniels, Shane Pressnell, Lance Joyner, Jeffery Underwood and Joe Sims.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wyatt Joyner, Drake Joyner, Wesley Underwood, Davey Underwood, Henry Daniels, Bentlee Pressnell and Emily Underwood.

I'm really late with this I just now found that my friend and cousin Betty Jean has passed away. I didn't get to visit with her very often, but when I did get down to Alabama, we always had a good time during our visits. God Bless you Betty. You Are Missed!!!!
