Ted Wayne Mitchell, 86 of Athens, Alabama, died
Monday, September 5, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Mitchell was born August
12, 1936 in Limestone County, he was a member of the Church of Christ. He was retired
from General Motors and he was a Veteran of Alabama National Guard.
There will
be a 11AM Graveside Service Saturday at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Visitation
is from 9:30AM until 10:30AM Saturday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
Survivors: Sisters, Maurice Reyer of Elkmont and Margaret Stinnett of Athens.
Brothers, George Mitchell of Athens and Jack Mitchell of Decatur.
Preceded in
death by: Parents, Sanford and Leota Mitchell. Wife, Libby Mitchell. Daughters,
Amy Mitchell and Shara Mitchell. Brothers: Dan Mitchell and Douglas Mitchell.
Sister, Joyce White.
