Raymond Lee Owens, age 82 of Decatur died Wednesday January 26, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Owens was born August 14, 1939. He was a retired carpenter.

Memorial service will be 2 pm Sunday at Blackburn Road Baptist Church in Athens with Greg Patrick officiating, visitation will be from 1pm until service at the church on Sunday.

Survivors, Daughter, Lisa Carter of Athens. Grandsons, Colton Dugger and Jimmy Dugger both of Athens. Seven Great Grandchildren. Brothers, Gene Owens of Decatur. Riley Owens of Athens and Jerry Owens of Decatur. Sisters, Barbara Tucker, Linda Green, Alma Martinez, Carolyn Owens and Katherine Glover.

Preceded in death by Brothers, Frank Owens Jr. and Denford Owens.
