Joyce Lovelady Tucker, 87 of Athens,
Alabama, died Thursday, June 4, 2020 at her residence.
Services will be 3pm
Sunday at O’Neal Church of Christ with Matt Taylor, Barry Tucker, Larry Tucker
and Greg Tucker officiating with burial in O’Neal Cemetery.
Visitation is
Sunday from 1pm until service time at church Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Will
Beutjer, Tyler Tucker, Tucker Hughes, Scott Neely, Kent Neely and Benji Hughes.
Honorary Pallbearers are Grandchildren.
Survivors: Sons: Larry (Theresa) Tucker
of Elkmont and Barry (Marsha) Tucker of Athens; Daughter: Debbie Tucker of
Athens; Sister: Shirley Cheatwood of Milburn, Florida; Sister-in-Laws: Robbie
Tucker of Athens and Martha Hansen of Birmingham, AL; Uncle: Bert Huffstutler
of Snellville, GA; Seven Grandchildren; Thirteen Great Grandchildren; One Great
Great Granddaughter; several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Preceded in death by
Husband: Charles D. Tucker, One Sister and One Brother.
Mrs. Tucker was born
May 18, 1933 in Cullman, Alabama, she was a member of O’Neal Church of Christ
where she taught the Ladies Bible Class, she won the Support Person of the year
in 2002 and she was retired from the Limestone County Board of Education.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
